National Citizen Service Representatives from the National Citizen Service visited our school again this week to talk to students about an opportunity they are running over the summer period. The full story is available on the school website. | Ambition for All Achievements We have built up a wall of events that have taken place to share the ambition across the school and community.Our students have been very ambitious this month and we know they will continue to do so. Well done to all our students! | Catch Me If You Can Mr Chatfield provided an update this week on how far we managed to run as a school during our #AmbitionForAll month for the 'Catch Me If You Can' initiative. We ran 1090km which is past Berlin and into Poland! |

Stars of the Week:
- Miss Longhurst has nominated 7TA for great contribution to the class debate in History.
- Mrs Keogh would like to thank Jamie and Taylor 11T for their support in the mornings.
- Mrs Wiley has nominated Eduard 12H for supporting another student.
- Miss James has nominated 8A3 English for their expert reading of Robert Frost's 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening'.
- Miss James would also like to nominate Emily, 8T for her lovely Wintery poem called 'The Snow Globe'.
- Mr Harley would like to congratulate Jasmine 11C for her excellent work in Product Design.
- Mrs Prior would like to congratulate the Year 11s who went up a grade since December or achieved high attainment in their English mock exams.
- Miss Fenner has nominated Year 9 English for their outstanding inspirational messages to the Year 11s for their upcoming GCSE examinations.
- Mr Chatfield has nominated Sunny and Emily 8T for their excellent running achievements during the 'Catch me if you can' initiative.
- Miss Kidner would like to thank all the newly-appointed student librarians for their hard work, dedication and support in the school library.
- Corby Technical School would like to thank all their students for being extremely ambitious in the month of February.

Inspirational Messages for Year 11Year 9 English students have learnt about inspiration and how to inspire others this week. They wrote inspirational messages to the Year 11s for their upcoming GCSE exams. | Workshops - Year 9Natalie Porter from the National Apprentice Service delivered a workshop to our Year 9 students. They were given lots of useful information about different apprenticeship options which are available to them, how to apply and what to expect. | Year 8 Sports Science Trip Year 8 students had a fantastic day at the University of Bedford. The trip was aimed at those students who have an interest in GSCE PE or pursuing a future in the Sports Science industry. |

Workshops - Year 9
Natalie Porter from the National Apprentice Service delivered a workshop to our Year 9 students. They were given lots of useful information about different apprenticeship options which are available to them, how to apply and what to expect.
Attendance Matters
Whole School Attendance Our school attendance for this week was 93.46%. This is under our target of 96.5%. We hope that we will be surpassing our target in the first week back in the holidays. | Best Tutor Group 10T are this week's attendance winners with 98%. This is the second time that they have won. Well done 10T, you are doing your tutor group proud. | House Winner The best house is C House with 94.16% for the third week running. You are proving to be an unbeatable house with attendance. Well done to Cayley and Coleman! |
