Scarborough Middle School
Family Newsletter for 1-15-2021
Hello Scarborough Middle School Families,
The weekly Scarborough Middle School News includes announcements and attachments listed below for our families. We hope you will find this a useful form of communication.
Respectfully,
Kathy Tirrell, Principal
David Currier, Assistant Principal
We have created directions for using the PowerSchool Mobile App. Our hope is that these directions (directions found here) will assist families in learning how to stay connected with their students' progress throughout the school year.
Even with our hybrid learning model we are still indeed creating a Yearbook for the middle school! See below for a summary of upcoming deadlines, but also make sure to see additional information at the SMS Yearbook Website.

Student Advocacy Counseling Corner
Hello Scarborough Families!
This month's Student Advocacy Google Classroom is dedicated to Goal Setting and Resolutions. A new year is a quintessential time for people to think about new habits or characteristics that they want to incorporate into their lives.
This month's virtual classroom and its accompanying challenge is being shared with students later this weekend. Take a look. There are 13 videos and resources with positive messages about starting the new year off on the right foot. We would love your input.
All of our best,
Michelle Grant
