Raymond Central Newsletter
September 2018
From the Desk of Dr. Joel...
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! It is my pleasure to welcome back the students, families, and staff of Raymond Central, ready to continue the important work of our school district - provide a positive, challenging learning environment which prepares each individual student to be a responsible citizen in an ever-changing society. As we begin another school year, we look forward to you being part of the Mustang family!
Nearly 700 students (Preschool thru 12th grade) returned to school on August 15th, eager for the opportunity to see friends, participate in sports and activities, and see their teachers. I enjoyed visiting each of our building sites to see our students smiling, laughing, and ready to learn.
We will be launching our new school website the week of September 3rd. One of our priorities is to maintain constant communication with you throughout the year. We will have more information about the new website that will be emailed out through BrightArrow. When the website is finalized, you will have the opportunity to download an app for your phone that will simplify navigating the school website and have the ability to receive push notifications.
Overall, I have a sense of excitement for the 2018-2019 school year because of the energy that our students, staff, and parents bring to our school community and all the possibilities that working together provide. Raymond Central excels because of this collective effort, focus on commitment, and great students, parents/guardians, teachers, support staff, etc…
On behalf of the incredible team of educators and support staff who serve the children of Raymond Central, thank you for allowing us to provide your students with a first-class education. We look forward to working with you throughout the year to ensure the success of all of our students.
Go Mustangs!
Dr. Joel, Superintendent
