Please complete: Returning student registration update
In order to streamline our system, we have moved our annual returning student registration update process fully online. This will replace the packets of paper forms that families were typically asked to complete at the start of each school year.
Now, families will simply log in to their Aspen accounts and follow the steps to update the information.
- This workflow will ask you to review the information currently in Aspen, such as address, contact phone number, etc., and allow you to make any necessary changes
- Families will also be able to submit health information and authorizations for students
- If you would like to receive text messages from the district along with our other communications tools (such as email, app, and the CrisisGo emergency notification system), please ensure that your cell phone number is listed in the field reading ‘Phone number to receive texts’
- Please complete all information as fully and accurately as possible
This video will walk you through the process of updating your student’s information in Aspen:
As this is a new process, some information will need to be entered only this year, and future years will be simpler.
If you don’t know your Aspen password, use the "I forgot my password" link on Aspen's login screen.
If you don’t know your Aspen login, send an email to help@monomoy.edu. For more information on Aspen, including tutorials, click here.
If you are not able to complete this process online, please contact the front office of your student’s school and they can help you.
We appreciate your patience as we put this new process into practice, which will reduce paper and increase efficiency for both families and staff. Thank you.
Bus Routes, Late Bus, and Reminders
Late Bus
The late bus for MRMS and MRHS begins today. You can find that schedule on our website at www.monomoy.edu/busroutes. The late bus allows students to stay after school for extra help, clubs, and other activities. Please note that the stops are at communal locations and not at student's homes, and that the late bus operates Monday through Thursday only..
Reminders About All Bus Pick Up and Drop Off Times
We understand that the timing of both bus pickup and drop-off are important to families and our entire team works hard to meet those schedules while keeping students safe on the road. However, please remember that bus times are an approximation, at the mercy of traffic, roadwork, weather, and the speed of student boarding and unloading. It’s wise to expect a window of time for the bus and we respectfully ask that students and parents be at a stop 10 minutes in advance of the pick up and drop off time.
Especially in the first two weeks, a bus may be as much 15 minutes early or late as drivers learn routes and our youngest students learn how to ride the bus.
In the event of occurrences such as bus breakdown, accident, etc., that will cause the bus to be very late, that information will be communicated to parents.
If the bus doesn’t pick up your child at all, or if after the third week of school, your pickup and drop-off times are consistently more than 15 minutes early or late, contact Faith Rushnak, Transportation Coordinator, at 508-945-5123 or frushnak@monomoy.edu.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Free school meals for all students for 2022-2023!
We are pleased to share that all Monomoy students can continue to receive free school meals for the coming year. Governor Baker has recently signed into law a one-year extension of School Meals for All for the 2022-2023 school year. This means that all students will be able to once again access free breakfast and lunch at school this year. We are glad to be able to offer this important support to our students and families.
It is important that any families who think they may meet the eligibility standards still complete the free and reduced lunch application (click here). This can offer a range of benefits to students, families, and schools, including:
- Reduced or eliminated fees for tests such as SAT and AP exams
- Eligibility for scholarships
- Reduced costs for home internet access
- Potential eligibility for additional food benefits such as Pandemic EBT
If you have any questions about completing the free/reduced meal application, please contact MRSD Food Services Director Garth Petracca at gpetracca@monomoy.edu.

Lost Cell Phones
Hello and welcome back to the new school year! We have had several cell phones lost, and found, in the few short days we've been back in the building. Here's a helpful suggestion:
- Remove your cell phone from your cell phone case
- Insert a piece of paper with a name and/or number to call if the phone is found/ or write it on the inside of the case...
- Return your cell phone to your cell phone case
No case? No problem - on the home screen add a name or number to the wallpaper that is visible when the phone is locked.
