Grace England Family Newsletter

The Home and School Connection for Klein's Littlest Learners

Big picture

Week of May 26-28

Dear Grace England Family,

This will be my final Family Newsletter message for the 19-20 school year. What a year it has been! Through all the ups and downs related to Covid-19, we have all continued to focus on what is most important--supporting our wonderful students and families.

Your child’s teacher has already reached out to you with specific information detailing next week’s plan of when and how you can come to school and safely retrieve your child’s personal items. These documents have also been shared on our Grace England web page and social network platforms.

Although we are feeling very excited to see our students and families during the distribution, please remember you will not be able to enter the school and must remain in your vehicle while only exiting to retrieve your child's bundled items.

On behalf of the entire Grace England teachers and staff, I want to extend my sincerest thanks for your support this year, both on campus and in the virtual at-home learning format. We, absolutely, could not have done it without you!

Appreciatively,

Mrs. Perry

Klein ISD At-Home Learning

Pre-K At Home Checklist

As you work with your child at home, please keep in mind that kids learn best with hands-on experiences, not memorization or drill practice. These early years with our children should be about fostering a love to play, explore, and learn! Also, it is important to note that our children are all different and gifted in unique ways. Obviously, if your child has special needs or is delayed in a particular area, this won’t necessarily be relevant to your child.
