UPCOMING EVENTS
- Are you interested in joining the Academic Team this year? Please come to Ms. Moriarity's room (Room 212) and get a permission slip. Take the permission slip home, and have your parents sign it. You can compete in Quick Recall, Written Tests, or Composition. Academic team practice will be today from 5th bell to 5:30 pm. Parents please pick up your child in front of the school. Our first match will be Thursday, September 9. You can join even if you are in other after school activities. Ms. Moriarity and Ms. Watts will work with your schedule if at all possible.
- Lifetouch will be here on September 24, for Fall pictures from 8:00-1:00. This is also picture day for all Virtual students as well.
SPORTS
- BCMS Ladycats Basketball game for tonight at East Carter has been cancelled. Congratulations to Bayley French on getting her 1,000th point in her career on August 21. Way to go Bayley! Ladycats will be in action again on Tuesday, September 7, at home versus Morgan County. Good Luck Ladycats!
- BCMS Boys Basketball Open gym will be on Saturday, September 4, from 10:00 am-12:00. Only those students participating will be allowed to come in and they will need to enter through the front door please. Participants must have a sports physical and signed permission form. Email daniel.hunt@bath.kyschools.us if you have any questions.
- BCMS Football Wildcats game tonight at Paris beginning at 6:30 pm. Good Luck Wildcats!!!
- Audrey Clark showed in her qualifying class on Friday and placed in the top ten. This means that she will show back in the championship class of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration this week to compete for a world championship title in her division. Good Luck Audrey!

School News
- Students are Map Testing today in Homeroom.
- If you ordered a yearbook, the 2021 BCMS yearbooks are in and ready for pick up. They will also have extras for sale at a cost of $30.00.
- Notes from the Health Unit: Incoming 6th graders are required to have an updated well-child physical and immunization certificate on file. Sports physicals are not accepted.
- Students that will require prescription medication anytime during the 21-22 school year MUST have a prescription medication form completed by the physician and signed by the guardian BEFORE medication can be left in the health unit or administered at school. This form is located on the BCMS website.
- Remember medications are NOT allowed to be transported on the bus by the student.
