There is no school on Monday, February 20, 2023, in observance of Presidents' Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Families, please do not drop off students for school early at the front of the school for the start of the school day.

The doors open at 8:40 a.m., and supervision of students is not provided prior to this time. If you arrive before 8:40 a.m., please wait with your student(s) until 8:40 a.m. for them to enter the school for breakfast and to go to class.

If you are interested in Safekey, the before-school program, please reach out to the Safekey program provided by Clark County Parks and Recreation for more information.

Spring pictures will be taken for those families who would like to purchase them on February 23, 2023. This will also be the annual class picture day. A flyer has been sent home with information about how to order photo packages and/or class photos. Only students ordering pictures will have individual photos taken. All students will be a part of the class photo.

To order photos online, visit BellPhoto.com and enter our code WIENERLVSPRING23. For online orders, please record the online order number on the picture envelope and send the envelope to school on picture day. This is very important so teachers know to send students to have individual photos taken.

Nevada Reading Week is coming soon! More information will be sent home next week. We hope you will be able to participate throughout the week.

LWJES is planning a family fun night out on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 4:45 p.m. We are planning for activities and crafts for families to create together. Please save the date and more information will be coming soon!

Any student determined to be exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19 will be sent home immediately from the school's satellite health office. Should isolation and/or quarantine protocols need to be enacted, follow all guidelines for isolation and mandatory mask wearing periods.
