Edmond Doyle News 9-28-17

We hope this letter finds everyone doing well today! Edmond Doyle is a busy place this time of year. Be sure to check out all of the upcoming events. Our monarch caterpillars are getting close to making their pupas. They are so cool to watch-we are challenged by keeping them fed! They are very hungry caterpillars indeed! We have tagged six so far-they are also very hard to catch!

Our fundraiser will begin on October 2nd. Thank you in advance for helping your child raise money for our school. We use this money all year to fund fun activities and to get extra things we need for our students. We appreciate your help! All money will need to be turned in by October 16th.

Our attendance percentages today are:

1st 91.39%

2nd 96.60%

3rd 95.87%

4th 96.08%

Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades are doing a great job-our 1st grade students need to really try their very best to be at school on time! 1st-4th are all extremely important grades, but 1st grade is the building block of all grades. Every student has to learn how to read, understand numbers, and make friends-they cannot do this if they are not here. This is true for every grade. Please have your children to school on time, homework signed and completed, and ready to start the day prepared! THIS IS SO CRUCIAL-PLEASE DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO BE HERE!!!

Tomorrow is our first PTO meeting at 6:00. We need your help and your input. Everyone is busy-chisel out some time to help our school by being involved! Thanks!
