How to help this crisis
The majority of Texas is currently experiencing in drought that started in October 2010. Most of the state has been under drought conditions for over three years. 2011 was the driest year ever for Texas with a average of only about 14.8 inches of rain. Texas has been experiencing horrible droughts through the year and we are running out of water.
Here is our way we can solve that problem. When it rains the gutters on the roof will collect the rain and bring it to a tank underground. The tank size will very from 1000-13000 gallons. The gutters will catch the rain, the gutters will also be at a angle so the water will go all into one pipe which will lead the water to the tank and filter all of the water. There will be 5-8 pipes depending on how much water you use yearly then that water will transfer from the pipes to the sink, shower, etc.
The 2011 intense drought was caused by a weather pattern where the surface temperature was cooler in the pacific. This makes it drier, and warmer in Southern U.S.
