Back to School Edition 2022-23
Are you Ready? We are Ready!!!
Summer passes quickly and we have spent the summer prepping to welcome our students back to the building. This newsletter includes all of the important dates, times and information for Back to School season. The JH office is now open daily from 8:00am - 3:00pm.
Back to School Night - Tuesday, Aug. 23rd 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Our Annual Back to School Night Open House is scheduled for
Tuesday, August 23rd from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
We invite all of our JH families to come into the building where students will receive their class schedule and locker assignments. Students can walk through their classes, meet their teachers and try their lockers. Staff will be available to assist with finding classrooms and answering questions.
First Day of School is Monday, August 29th (half day - dismissal 11:37am)
First Day expectations
On the first day of school we will have all 1st hour class rosters posted for students so that they can report directly to their first hour where they will receive a copy of their schedule and locker combinations. Students will rotate through all 6 classes on an abbreviated schedule so that they can meet all of their teachers.
Students will be provided with opportunities to practice their locker combinations with assistance from staff. Staff will be stationed throughout the building to assist with finding classrooms as well.
Dismissal is at 11:37am on the first day of school
Check to make sure your child is up to date on their immunizations!
