MCA Math Tests
Remember that a good night's rest and a healthy breakfast and lunch are good preparations for a test.
Biographies
Over the next two weeks, your student will be reading a biography on a historical figure and completing three projects to showcase what they have learned. This project will be completed in class. As part of their final grade, each student will be required to present their projects dressed as their biography subject. I am not expecting anyone to go out of their way and buy anything for this project. I want students to try to use what they have at home and their creativity. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact me.
*The date for our biography presentations has not been set yet. I will send out a letter stating the date once that has been decided.
Next week
We will not have spelling, vocabulary words, daily oral language, or a math menu next week, so don't look for any of those items to be written in the planner.
In math we will be working on a (paper) quilt project in math to focus on symmetry and patterns.
