Amazia in Brooklyn
Safe & sound, reinvented.
Amazia Fensterheim (21), Israeli born son of American immigrants to Israel, and a former warrior in an elite paratrooper unit, was wounded during operation Protective Edge in which four of his friends were killed by a roadside bomb in Gaza. Now he shares his story to inspire and connect people with their Jewish identity.
Today, Amazia is still undergoing rehabilitation treatment with the goal of being able to run again. Amazia participated in the RUN FOR IDF run in Brooklyn this April, and although still running with crutches, took on the challenge, in memory of his friends who fell in battler this past summer.
