October News
Note from the Principal
We are off to a great start to the school year. We have had many highlights. One of our highlights is having the local police officers and fire fighters come to our assembly and discuss the importance of kindness, respect for others, working with others, and working hard. We are trying to create a happy Kennedy family and is so important to all of us to have a safe and welcoming school. We have also put a lot of emphasis on reading at home again this year. Thank you for your support and help. Our school read for over 200,000 minutes at home in the month of September. Each month we will try to do a little more. We ask that our students read or be read to for 30 minutes night during the week. If a student gets 30 PAWS in October, they can dress up like a book character on the last day of the month. Our Open House and Book Fair is coming on October 26th. Hope to see you all there. It is so great to see all of our Kennedy families coming together.
Our first group of 100 PAW Members. Congratulations!!!
Kindness in Chalk Event
On October 26th, we wlll take time out of our day to participate in a Kindness in Chalk event. From 1:45 to 2:15 all of our students were spreading kindness by writing positive messages on our school sidewalks for all the people of Kennedy to enjoy.
Thank you for all of your support!
Please Remember to Vote on November 7th
