5th Grade Clap Out Details:

Our wonderful teachers and staff have come up with a revised plan for a safe and successful clap out! The 5th graders will be grouped with their homeroom teacher and their team teacher. (5A/5F, 5B/5D, 5C/5E)
They will line up and walk the halls while the remaining grades cheer them on from their classrooms as they pass by. 5th grade siblings will be allowed to bring posters and stand in the halls as their sibling passes their class and all homeroom teachers will be at their doors to watch their former students with pride!

The 5th graders will be exiting the building through 3 separate doors and will be marked with balloons. Please see the attached map to find where you will wait for your child to exit.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to bring posters, noise makers, etc! Let's show these 5th graders some BIG LOVE!

Students will leave for the day upon exiting the school and won't be returning to their classrooms, so please don't send lunchboxes or backpacks on the last day of school.

5th Grade Party Details

The party will be outside behind Northridge Presbyterian Church at 6920 Bob O Link Dr. from 5-7pm on the last day of school, June 18th. We are so excited to finally gather and celebrate our 5th graders! This outdoor event will have a DJ, Photobooth, refreshments, The Hamburger Man and popsicles. Please let us know if your 5th grader will be there so we can get a rough head count! Feel free to drop off, we will have plenty of chaperones. No siblings, please. RSVP here http://evite.me/dWDujjd8kR

Keep up that Enrollment!

Important Updates on Class Lists and Enrollment

Parents,

We are working hard to finalize class lists for the 2021-2022 school year, and we hope to share this information with you on the last week of June. If you are enrolled for the upcoming school year, we will send you a postcard with your stallion's new teacher for next school year! If you do not receive a postcard, this information will be available to you by August 10th on the Parent Portal platform.

Each year, the process of placing our students in their new homeroom classes is very important to us! While I know that some parents may be asking for class changes, unfortunately we cannot make any adjustments for homerooms. We must consider the parent and teacher input provided in the spring to meet each child’s unique needs, as well as the even distribution of students in each class. As the school year begins, we ask that you use the following campus procedure to address any concerns.

1. First, reach out to the teacher directly with any concerns or needs regarding your child's experiences. We are all learning together and there will be an adjustment period.

2. If after reaching out to your teacher you still have concerns, please reach out directly to their administrator, (3-5 Ms. Bentley) (K-2 TBD).

Thank you for your understanding of our school policy and supporting us as we dive into the new school year!
