#sparkinfo. Weekly Update
Week #2 August 26th-30th
It was a great first week!
Students were engaged and having fun! We had some great first assemblies and the science club put on a fun-filled First Friday dance!
We were able to take photos of all three grade levels to represent their class on Friday afternoon. The class of 2024, 2025, & 2026 photos will be displayed in the main office and in the respective hallways. The photos represent a mindset we want for students. We want them to begin seeing where they are heading. Not only high school, but graduation and beyond.
In the week to come, we will take individual photos of all of our future graduates in the class of 2024. We will celebrate the achievement of those who grew on state testing, and we will continue to establish the classroom expectations of excellence.
Please let us know if we can support you with anything!
Instructional Update
Don't forget our PBIS structures. Complete "Good News" forms for students, recognize excellence with Excel Cents, and don't accept zeroes. Failure is not an option.
Next week, we will begin our first Tuesday leadership meetings. Please look at the leadership teams and let me know if you feel a desire to participate with a different team than scheduled.
