New Information/Things to Do:
Winter Performances Dress Rehearsals
A reminder about dress rehearsals for our shows this week. Please attend your own rehearsal, but know you are not required nor expected to attend other rehearsals. If you do plan to attend, please be sure to come on time, and prepare your children that they may be in chairs and/or on the floor
- 3rd Grade and Choir-Tuesday, 10-11 AM
- 4th and 5th Grade-Wednesday, 9-10 AM
- 1st and 2nd Grades
- Thursday: Group A (Cassidy, Wetzstein, Ochoa, Shye), 8:30-9:30
- Thursday: Group B (Cook, Risucci, Beatty, Shelton), *1:40-2:40 (*this time has changed from the original email sent out before Thanksgiving.
Employee Assistance Program
ACI's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free support for any of the following:

*Any issue affecting overall health and well-being

Important things to know this week:
- Will is slated to be at LCE in the afternoons this week
- Monday-Thursday - GLAD Training will be happening in Pam Cook's classroom, so expect things to be a little wonky for her class and to see extra adults on campus
- Monday morning - Jen and Will are at COES for a District meeting. Call Pam if you need something - she can get to Jen - I'll be 5 min away
- Tuesday early afternoon - Tom will be here
- Tuesday at 3 pm - staff meeting - location changed to Annie's classroom
- Wednesday at 2 pm - Jen & Will will be heading off site for an admin meeting
- Thursday morning - Skip will be here
- Friday morning - Will and Jen will be at a PBIS training; Darren will be the TIC
- Friday at lunch - POTLUCK! sign up in the admin bldg hallway
Older Stuff/Reminders
End of the Semester Things to Know:
The end of the semester is rapidly approaching. A few things to remember:
- ASAP - give me your grade's end of semester awards plans - we need to get organized in the office!
- December 8-14 - classroom teachers will be receiving grades from our music & science teachers
- December 18-21 - ER days so that you can work on tasks related to the end of the semester. You can also meet with families as needed
- December 21 - last day of Semester 1
- January 12 - report cards go home for all students; please do NOT send out reports before 1/12 unless you are meeting with the family face to face
- January 12 - semester 1 awards recipient names due to Tricia (a form will come to you in early December to fill out & return to Tricia)
- January 19 - end of Semester awards given out - exact times will be published in December so teachers can invite families to attend
Toys for Tots Drive:
- new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off in the bins in the main office; contact Mrs. Adams or speak to a Leadership Ambassador for details
Lions Club/LCE Canned Food Drive:
- the drive runs through December 6
- classes are encouraged to decorate their boxes and fill them with non- perishable foods
- all food collected will stay in the Lincoln community
- boxes will be emptied on Fridays - Pam will be in touch with the details on emptying boxes; let Pam know if your box needs to be emptied on a non-Friday because it's so full! :)
- each class needs to keep track of your own collection totals
- the class with the highest collection total will earn a pizza party!
- our leadership ambassadors will be helping to spread the word & generate enthusiasm
