Deposition
It's Where Gravity Works! By: Charlotte Kolodij 13
How Deposition Works
After erosion, all that sand, dirt, mud, and broken rock has to go some where but that some where is not just in the air(or a block of ice and A stream of water)! All those sediments drop and form different land form. For example when sand falls and piles up it creates a sand dune. When dirt drops and creates a mound of dirt.
What Deposition Creates
Deposition can create many but small, land forms! When sand piles up it creates a sand dune. When a river carries sediments to a mouth of a river all of sediments create deltas. Sometimes dirt piles up and creates mounds of dirt.

Sand Dunes
A sand dunes is created when over a long time sand piles up in one certain place.
Erratic
This large boulder is left behind after a glacier that passed by that location.
Deltas
At the mouth of a river thousands of sediments pile up over millions of years and create a triangle of sediments.
