Don't forget to sign up for the parent/student account for ClassDojo if you would like to see your child's behavior points awarded or taken away throughout the day! The login information was sent home before break, but I will be happy to send it home again if needed, just let me know!

Reading Groups

Due to student's reading levels changing (which is awesome!), many of our guided reading groups were mixed up across the grade level. Some students will begin going to different teacher in the grade level for guided reading instruction so they can be instructed at the appropriate level.

What are we up to?

  • Writing - Friendly Letter Writing

  • ELA - Capitalization and Punctuation

Students should capitalize greetings, months, days of the week, holidays, geographic names, and titles. They also need to understand when to use an exclamation mark, question mark, and period at the end of sentences. (We will work on this in our Writing and ELA blocks)
