Aphrodite and Persephone

Aphrodite is one of the many goddess's of Mt. Olympus. She is famous for her beauty. Most men loved the thought of having her as their love, and she did date many mortals! But, her third love, was the most special. His name was Adonis. He was born a mortal, from mother natures tree. At first, Aphrodite had no feelings for Adonis, so she gave him as a gift to Persephone, the wife of Hades because she was very lonely down there, she never loved Hades anyways. So, after a while Aphrodite grew jealous, Adonis became more and more handsome. Aphrodite began to "steal" him from Persephone. Then, Persephone grew jealous. It almost came down to the war of Aphrodite, and Persephone. Zeus, the god of sky, came down and made a big clash with his lightning bolt. He said that Adonis would spend one third of the year with Persephone, one third of the year with Aphrodite, and then one third of the year with whomever he may choose. Adonis choose to spend one third of the year with Aphrodite, and two thirds of the year with Persephone.

Aphrodite treasured her times with Adonis, but when he was outside hunting, the jealousy between Persephone and Aphrodite was still so strong, Zeus sent a mighty bear to come and show upon Adonis, he was a mortal so he could not protect himself, and Aphrodite is mighty weak. Adonis got slashed in the chest, with Aphrodite running to his side to help clean the wound. She couldn't clean it fast enough and started dragging him along. Zeus could not let him suffer the pain he had caused him, and the jealousy between Persephone and Aphrodite. He grew thorns to be in their way, and they stabbed his feet, and stabbed inside his head. Aphrodite, crying, dragging him along, still believing he had a chance. After they were out of the thorn, her third love died from all the scratches and cuts. She wept terribly after loosing her third and best love.

Comparing Batman to Aphrodite

When comparing Batman to Aphrodit, I mostly find differences. There may be things alike about them as well. They are alike because they were both heros. Batman is a hero because he saved the world from harm. Aphrodite is a hero because she is the most beautiful woman known. The ways that they are different is that Batman was born way later than Aphrodite. Batman was born in the 20th century and Aphrodite was born in ancient Greek Times. Aphrodite was said to be born from a sea waves and, Batman was said to be born in a ragular home. Batman took the name Bruce Wayne so, he could hide his identy of Batman. Aphrodite never had any other name. Aphrodite happen to love up to 6 men and, Bruce Wayne (Batman), never acutally married.

This is what is alike and different about Aphrodite and Batman.
