Principal's Message
Hello Seco Families,
Remember that next Thursday, March 12, is a minimum day with dismissal at 11:35 am.
Friday, March 13, is our 'Rroyo Rodeo Roundup Dance from 5 to 7 pm. Tickets will be sold until Wednesday, March 11th unless we sell out before then. Students can purchase tickets in person at the ASB window or through our online web store:
https://arroyosecojhs.myschoolcentral.com. The link is also available on the Seco website.
The end of the 3rd Quarter is Friday, March 20. Please take note of the additional upcoming events and the important dates for 8th Grade High School Registration.
Please read the information below about Census 2020. It is very important that everyone participates -- it helps determine allocation of money for schools, parks, public health, and many other programs and services.

Important Dates for 8th Grade HS Registration
March 16
Students receive info about Saugus ASB and Athletics through PE classes.
March 18
Saugus Elective Day: representatives from various electives come and share information through PE classes.
March 19
Students receive information about JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) through their P.E. classes.
March 20
Saugus Counselors come and share through history classes what to expect in high school. Students receive registration guides (review with your child).
March 26
Freshman Orientation at Saugus High School for both parents and students. Athletics information will also be presented in the Saugus Gym.
April 13 – 17
Saugus Registration: students sit down one on one with a high school counselor and choose their classes. Registration is by team through history classes.

For the latest update from the district about the coronavirus, please refer to Mr. Kuhlman's email that was sent out last evening. As he indicated, any major changes will be communicated through Blackboard Connect and on the district website.
