Principal's Post
The last few weeks of school have arrived and the weather is warming up! I hope you all are enjoying spring and planning some really great things for the summer! As we head into the end of the school year I cannot wait to take part in all of the fun things that Grenloch has planned. I am looking forward to seeing all of the kid's smiling faces on Fun Day and Special Endings! I will miss all of the Kindergartner's as they move onto first grade. How exciting to get to visit your home-school's in the upcoming weeks!
As always don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Go On A Picnic
If the rain won’t seem to end, you can hold a picnic indoors. Just spread a blanket on the floor and enjoy a family meal on your living room.
Make a Cardboard Crown
We all know “Where The Wild Things Are”: they’re outside!
The crowns were inspired by the classic children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak.
This author took a common object—a cereal box—and turned it into something whimsical and fun with nothing but paint and scissors. So make crowns with your kids in the house, read the story of Max and the wild things, and then go outside on a beautiful spring day and have an adventure of your own.

Make Mud Pies (and the Indoor Version, Play Dough)
Rainy spring days leave behind the perfect medium for childhood fun: mud puddles! Encourage your kids to explore the world when it’s wet, to splash in the puddles left behind and to squeeze the soggy earth between their fingers. Then welcome them back inside to a nice, warm bath!
If it’s still too rainy to head outside, you can simulate the squishy fun of playing in the mud with play dough.
