WINDERMERE PRIMARY/Oct. 4
2018
NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, OCT 5TH AND MONDAY, OCT 8TH
TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS
PARENT INVOLVEMENT IS KEY
Parental involvement in your child's education is consistently found to be positively associated with a child's academic success. One way to be involved is to attend a Parent-Teacher Conference. This is an opportunity to discuss your child's academic progress and social behaviors. It is my hope that all of you have the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher this fall.
Another positive way to be involved in your child's education is through volunteering. Do you have an hour to mentor a child, assist in setting up for a school-wide event or clean up the day of the event?
We need your help at our annual Windermere Fall Festival on Friday, October 26th. Set -up is 3:00 - 4:00 pm, Festival is 5:00- 7:00 pm, and cleanup is 7:00- 7:30 pm. Please let your child's teacher know if you are willing to help on October 26th!
We hope to see everyone at our annual Windermere Fall Festival! Thank you teachers and PTO parents for organizing such a fun family event!
Ms. Floyd
PARENT-TEACHER FALL CONFERENCES BEGIN OCT. 8
Our teachers are working to ensure they have face to face time with each of you to discuss your child’s strengths, where they are growing, and answer any questions you may have. We will work around your schedule before, during and after school to the best of our ability. We value your input and believe that together we are better equipped to meet the needs of our students!
