December Schedule and Thoughts


Welcome Back! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. There are many stories from staff and students of adjustments that were made throughout the weekend, but that's the true beauty of life! We can never plan every detail out.......and the joy is when you realize-that's ok! The video below reminds me of a lady who still finds joy in the simple pleasures of life-a snowball!

Life Skills Schedule, Shop w/Cop, & Pics

Life Skills will be 7, 8, 10, 11,& 16

That breaks down to all classes next week EXCEPT Wed, those classes will be held in the library the following week.

Shop with a Cop-If you have names of students please go ahead and share. I know the link did not work for a few people, if you have trouble just send me the names. There has been a couple of changes, one is the date-it is now Dec 14 & 15. I could continue to ask that you not share with families that their name has been submitted. Like all programs there's some criteria to be able to participate. If you have questions feel free to direct people to me so you don't have to worry about it.

Also, I'd like to remind you that Polk County Christian Social Ministers (PCCSM) in-conjunction with OACAC and Salvation Army are the gatekeepers for the Share Your Christmas program. Feel free to give this information out to anyone that might need it or send them my directi
