A note from Mrs. Kusar...
Hi Pirate Families!
We have a very full spring semester ahead of us! Make sure to check out the "Looking Forward" section below! The best way to stay in the loop is to keep up with class and school announcements on Talking Points with your student's teacher. Our school Facebook page and website are also great ways to stay in the loop!
One of our goals at OES is to create and sustain a student centered learning environment by developing strong relationships with our students. We truly believe that you must have solid relationships with students before they can learn academics. You have read and heard about our Capturing Kids' Hearts work the past two years. Each staff member here values the social emotional component of our roles here with students. We hope to be recognized and awarded as a "National Showcase School" for Capturing Kids' Hearts at the end of this year. This means we live the CKH processes here daily- and do it well!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. My door is always open. Thank you for all of your support, and for sharing your amazing kids with us!
Sincerely,
Beth Kusar
Principal
