Cougar Connection

How to say goodbye...

What an exciting year this has been! During the 19-20 school year, our staff partnered with your family, built priceless memories, celebrated many fantastic events, and supported the academic achievements of each Keith Cougar. PTO hosted the Mother/Son rock climbing, Whoville, and the Daddy/Daughter soiree, to highlight just a few. We had our annual Sock Hop, and we partnered with Andy's Kitchen for the Cypress Helping Hands food drive. PE brought in the fantastic program Learnin' the Ropes and we had a successful Kid's Heart Challenge event. Mrs. Budnek had some fabulous authors come to speak with the kids as well as Mother Goose. The garden lessons were amazing! Our garden is beautiful and our students loved this hands on learning opportunity.

Thank you again for all your efforts in making Learning at Home the best it could be! Your support and dedication during this time was appreciated. You partnered with our amazing teachers to grow your child and maximize their potential by providing relevant learning experiences to ensure your child finished strong. You are a trooper! My hope is for you to stay safe, and that you create wonderful memories with family and friends until we see each other again. Our theme next year is "Keith Cougars, we stick together." We will continue to stick together to support academic excellence for every student at Keith.

Enjoy your summer! We've all earned it! Even though we missed out on some spring events and academic milestones because of the virus, I am hopeful that this Fall we will be preparing Keith's campus for our precious students. In March, I mentioned that life brings us challenges and how we react is a choice. This summer, please choose to spread love, positivity, and grace. Enjoy your summer. We have so much to celebrate.
