Friday's Thoughts

What is your purpose?
My purpose is to create an amazing school culture where every child and adult wants to come each day, instill a strong work ethic in every person in our building, and ensure that our students' elementary years are the best years of their educational careers both academically and socially.
It is important to nail down our purpose here and remember it each day. So, what is your purpose? Write it down. Read it often. It will help us to be purposeful and intentional in everything we do each day.

Be on time to pick your students up from related arts. In some cases, classes are starting back to back. Thanks!

Parent Meetings
1. Please show parents the SC standards on the website. There is a parent friendly version.
2. Please discuss the importance of students being at school each day and on time. Tell them that we do not want them here if they are sick, but missing school does put students behind.
3. Show them our Colt's Customs and ask them to reiterate them at home.
4. Emphasize the reading logs and ask them to make reading a priority in their homes.
