Hammurabi was the king of Babylon. Hammurabi was the best known and most celebrated of all Mesopotamian kings. He was the ruler who chiefly established the greatness of Babylon. He was also the world's first metropolis. He expanded the city-state of Babylon along the Euphrates River to unite all of southern Mesopotamia. He reigned from 1792 to 1750 b.c.

King Sargon
Sargon was one of the strongest leaders in the known world of this period, for more than half a century. Sargon was famous for his conquest of the Sumerian city-states in the 23rd and 22nd centuries b.c. Sargon was the ruler of Akkad in Mesopotamia from 2340 to 2305 b.c. According to a folktale, Sargon was a self-made man of humble origins. He was also known almost entirely from the legends and tales that followed his reputation through 2,000 years of cuneiform Mesopotamian history.

Hammurabi's Code (An Eye For An Eye)
Hammurabi's Code was a collection of 282 laws and standards, stipulated rules to commercial interaction. The code was found by French Archaeologist in 1901. His laws was made because he was tired of people changing the laws whenever they wanted an advantage. The code also gives rules for family matters ,such as marriage ,divorce, and adoption.
The Justice Of An Eye For An Eye
"An Eye For An Eye" is a paraphrase of Hammurabi's Code, a collection of 282 laws inscribed on an upright stone pillar. The phrase represents many people view as a harsh since of justice based on revenge. An eye for an eye means revenge. For example: If I knock out your teeth, you have the right to knock mine out. "Do unto others as others do to you"
