Cougar Weekly Update
June 7, 2019
Principal's Message
This has been such a busy week! The kindergarten programs this morning was very well done. A huge thanks goes out to the teachers for putting on a great performance.
A favorite each year is the Senior Walk! I am not sure who enjoys it more the seniors, our students, or the teachers who taught the seniors before.
Next week brings the first grade musical and second grade awards. It is always fun to see our students shine! I look forward to seeing many of you next week. We will be "clapping out" our second graders on the last day of school. Second grade parents are welcome to come watch in city square. Keep in mind that parking will be at a premium so allow plenty of time.
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Gwynn

Nursing Notes
Dear Parent/Guardian,
As the end of the school year approaches, I will be cleaning and reorganizing the clinic for next year. Please pick up your child’s medication before, or during, the last day of school. Most medications, and particularly inhalers, expire after one year. These medications could be of value to your child over the summer months, as well as deflect additional medical expenses for your family.
Please remember that medications cannot be sent home with students.
It is the policy of Manassas Park City Schools that Medication Authorization Forms are valid for one school year only. Any unused medications and medical supplies not picked up will be discarded after the school year ends.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I have enjoyed taking care of your children and I wish all a safe and healthy summer.
Sincerely,
Deborah Braun, LPN
