Welcome To 4th Grade!
Mrs. Kentop & Mrs. Zavernik Team "ZavTop"
Believe In Your #Selfie
Welcome to fourth grade! We hope you’re ready to to have a year full of learning adventures! We are a collaborative “teaching team” and this allows us to make your child’s learning more personal. We are 100% invested in your child to make learning as engaging and personal as possible! We pride ourselves on getting to know your child as a learner, but more importantly as a unique individual. By getting to know about your child's social/emotional and academic needs, we will be able to plan instruction that is personalized to your child's academic needs. We feel very fortunate to be able to work with you and your family this year! Here’s a little bit about each of us!
Getting To Know Mrs. Kentop
I am a 34 year old graduate of UW-Oshkosh with a degree in Elementary Education grades 1-8 and a minor in Spanish. I am absolutely thrilled to be starting my eleventh (did I really just say 11, wow) year as a teacher here at Forest Glen and cannot wait for the school year to begin. I believe its very important to create a sense of community in the classroom and make everyone feel accepted, safe and welcomed. Also, 7 years ago I began the journey to getting my masters in counseling through Concordia University.
In my free-time I enjoy doing a few things. I have an amazing sassy dog named Ellie. My husband and I have an almost 5 year old little girl Eva. Eva and I have had so much fun together this summer! I am sure your student will come home with stories that I tell of Eva and Ellie because I like my students to not only know me as a teacher, but on a personal level, so I tell them lots of stories about what is going on in my life.
A Few Of My Favorite Things:
