A Note From Mrs. Donnell

We have made it to the mid-term mark. Considering all of the changes we made this summer, we have had a great 4 ½ weeks so far. I am going in and out of classrooms and I am so impressed with the students. They want to learn, they want to do well and they seem to love being at school. I am receiving great feedback from our staff about how the students are settling in and how they are diving into God’s Word and learning to become fearless in Christ.

We enjoyed meeting all of the Grandparents today. What a wonderful legacy each of them brings to their families and to the family of CCS. We are very grateful for each family that was represented and send prays to those who could not be with us today. Grandparents play a vital role in the lives of our students and in God’s Kingdom.

In Christ’s Love

We are ambassadors for Christ.

2 Peter 1

" For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love."

Congratulations, Mrs. Maurey!

New Crusader due in April.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Psalm 139:13-16

Staff Change Monday, September 10

CCS is happy to announce a change in our staffing placement. Effective Monday, September 10, Mrs. Heather Gregg will be taking over the Elementary Special classes and be working one-on-one with some of our elementary students. Mrs. Gregg is really excited about this new opportunity and is eager to add her own personal touch to our already wonderful Elementary Specials programming. Mrs. Angie Herron will be transitioning to the secondary end full-time to help us focus on our Mathematics programming for 6th - 12th grade students. Both of these ladies bring great God-given talents and gifts to the CCS family. Help us in praying for each of them as they step into “new” roles here at CCS.
