A Message From Mr. Shaw
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of those families who are working so hard with their children during school closure. We are now starting the 8th week since our campus has been closed. We have transitioned from packets to online learning. As parents, you have stepped up and out of your comfort zone to provide your children educational support and I appreciate you more than you know. We have successfully completed 3 weeks of distance learning, there has been lots of joy and a few tears but we are doing it. Thank you for your continued support!
Great news! Our participation in online learning has steadily increased every week. We don't yet have every student accessing our online curriculum, but there's still time. 7th grade has had 100% of their students check-in and complete work, what grade level will be next!
We are still collecting library books in the big red bin, please drop those off as soon as you can, Ms. Powers is hard at work inventorying the library and getting it ready for when we return.

The Big Red Bin
1. Library Books. So far, 50 have been returned. Thank you!
2. UNIFORMS! We need 4/5 basketball girls and boys to return their uniforms to this bin as well as jr. high softball and baseball uniforms.

HERE'S A HOW-TO VIDEO FROM OUR TECH EXPERTS
Having issues accessing your child's curriculum? Are things not going as smoothly as you would like? Try making sure your child is logged into your device's Chrome Browser. Once your child is logged into Chrome using their district assigned email and password, all of their curriculum and online programs will work more smoothly. For directions on how to do this, CLICK HERE to view this how-to video.

Internet Safety For Your Kids
As we continue distance learning, it’s vital to be mindful of internet safety. Studies show that parents are the number one defense in keeping kids safe and secure online. However, with so many different modes of technology it can be overwhelming and frustrating to navigate, especially when our kids seem to know more than us! It’s okay, and even good, to check up on your children’s media accounts, text messages, emails, etc. You are the parent, you get to protect them.
Check out the 2 quick tips visuals below to share with your kids regarding their safety on the internet:
If you have any concerns or questions with internet safety or any worries about your children, I’m here to help you! You and your child are welcome to email me: acutler@eesd.net Thanks for all you do!
