Middle School Weekly
September 5, 2022-September 9, 2022
Happy Friday!
For being a newbie, I want to say how amazing the students and staff are! The students are very polite, kind, and full of positive energy! I know I say this often, but I really am so enamored with HCA. The care and concern for the students is beyond remarkable and the amount of heart and hours our staff puts into teaching, planning, grading, emailing is amazing. I don’t think there has been one late-evening or weekend day where I didn't run into at least one other (if not more) of our teachers and staff members!
An educators heart and brain never turn off. We worry endlessly if the students are learning, if we handled a behavior situation the right way, if we made every student feel valued, etc., but lucky for us, the answer is YES! Our staff was called to be here and have accepted their vocation and calling in life. How utterly amazing!
God is good! Have a great weekend!

FACTS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
- Formative Assessments are being entered at a weight of zero (as they should be), but then becoming weighted at a 1 on a the actual grade section. This will be a quick fix!
- Parents can not see if an assignment is a summative or formative assessment. Another quick fix when the systems error is resolved
