Launchpad
Launchpad--New Feature for Instant Access to Multiple Applications
From the NEISD home page at www.neisd.net, students can log in to Launchpad with their student email and password. This will allow them to gain access to several applications including all the library databases, the online catalog, textbooks, and their NEISD Google account without having to re-enter passwords. This is available both on and off campus.
"Yeah, write!" on OUR campus!!!
The Friends of NEISD Libraries (FONEL) engages with the community to raise awareness of the value of school libraries. FONEL is ecstatic to present Yeah, write!, an exciting opportunity for middle school & high school aged writers to hone their craft and interact with award winning authors on September 21st at Churchill High School. Students who sign up for FONEL membership at the event will be entered into a drawing for Whataburger for a Year (must be present at drawing to win) For more information about the event, see our online newsletter (https://www.smore.com/68jmy)
Great Test Prep Resource for Chargers!
NEISD is excited to offer a database to help students become college and career ready. Students will find free test prep resources for a variety of tests including SAT, PSAT, ACT, AP, STAAR, ASVAB, and more. In addition, there are tools to help with career planning. This can be found in Launchpad in the Library Resources app. Students will need to register their own account after selecting a practice test in order to receive results and manage their account.
If you have questions, please contact your librarian, Mrs. Gustafson, cgusta2@neisd.net
