Pima Commuter School Pool
What is Pima Commuter School Pool? It is a voluntary carpool formed by parents to share the responsibility of driving their children to and from school. Pima Commuter School Pool, a secure carpool matching service for parents, is managed by Pima Association of Governments (PAG), our region's metropolitan planning organization. Parents should have received an email last Wednesday inviting them to participate. Anyone can opt out of the program, if they are not interested in participating. It is one more way the school is trying to help with a congested parking lot!
Health Office Wish List
Our new health assistant, Kipley, is looking for donations of bottled water, saltines and clothing for bigger boys.
From our Counselor, Christy McCoy
The new-student lunch bunch is gathering with me during their grade level lunch time on set days. I have scheduled with each teacher the days that their child will be coming to Lunch Bunch. The meetings consist of "getting to know you" type activities to help students make connections with other new students in a small environment. These lunch bunch meetings give me an opportunity for quick check-ins to be sure each new child is adjusting well to their new school settings.
