AnchorBots FTC Team 14649 Update
WBMS students competed at the FIRST Michigan State Championship – Dec 15-17 at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. Lesson learned: It’s not what you win, it’s what you learn.
This was the final FTC event for some of the team members. They were honored by "running" the final matches of the event. We can't wait to see your robotics skills in action at WBHS!

WBHS Boys Lacrosse started preseason training for NEW players Wednesday nights at Scotch Elementary. Two time slots available weekly at 6:30 and 7:30 pm. Contact Coach Jason Weimer at Jasonroyalweimer@gmail.com to schedule time to check out America's fastest growing sport. NO experience or equipment necessary to attend.
WBHS Snowboarding
The West Bloomfield snowboarding team kicks off their 2023 season this Tuesday, January 17 at Alpine Valley. The Lakers girls team is the defending state champion with two returning members of that squad, Audrey Phipps and Sydney Vagg. Both should be contenders for individual state recognition this season. The boys team qualified for the state meet last year and will be bringing back most of those boarders, plus several new members. Jordan Keil will be a state contender this year, too. Good Luck!
