7th and 8th Grade Science
May 31-June 3
7th Grade Science
This week the 7th graders shared their Water Crisis Public Service Announcements with the class. The students shared their research on factors causing water scarcity in various regions of the world, including the United States. It was great to hear their ideas for sustainable solutions!
Next week we'll end the year with a friendly team review competition, Survivor Science. The 7th graders will work on challenges related to material that we have studied over the course of the school year. It has been a fantastic year and I've enjoyed exploring science with all of the students!
Please continue to check my website, www.icsjdonnelly.weebly.com, daily for information regarding homework, assessments, and projects. Notes and labs done in class in the Interactive Notebook can be found there as well.
Best,
Ms. Donnelly
8th Grade Science
It is hard to believe that this was the last week of 8th grade! It was a fitting way to end the year in Science with a trip to Six Flags. The 8th graders were able to experience all of the physics concepts that we have studied first hand!
Personally, it has been a wonderful two years working with these students. I have enjoyed every minute of it and I know that they are prepared as they enter high school.
I wish them the best of luck as they move on from ICSJ.
Best,
Ms. Donnelly
