Introducing Your Las Vegas Raiders

Please pray for our students who did not receive first communion last May

As you know our second graders missed their Holy First Communion last May due to the global pandemic closing school and church. We postponed to mid-September praying that the class could receive together. Alas, the church remains at a capacity of 50 people and we had to create two celebrations. Our hearts were troubled after the Governor's press conference on Thursday; but, we were quickly reminded:

"I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.” John 6:51

Eternal life: well worth the wait and any inconvenience. We look forward to the day that we can celebrate the Eucharist together with all in our school family, particularly our new communicants.

Prayer for vocations

O Holy Spirit,

Spirit of wisdom and divine love, impart Your knowledge, understanding, and counsel to youth that they may know the vocation wherein they can best serve God.

Give them courage and strength to follow God's holy will.

Guide their uncertain steps, strengthen their resolutions, shield their chastity, fashion their minds, conquer their hearts, and lead them to the vineyards where they will labor in God's holy service.

Amen.

Can my child go to school today?

Distance Learning

Students approved for Distance Learning have specific permission to Zoom into class each day. Students who are sick may not arbitrarily choose to Zoom into class; they are marked absent for the day.

We recognize possible exposure may lead to a quarantine period (72 hours to 14 days). We are making accommodations for special circumstances.

Students approved for Distance Learning:

  • Please check in at the appropriate time. Contact the office if you are struggling.
  • Video and audio must be turned on.
  • You must be appropriately dressed in school uniform for the day
  • You must ask permission to leave the Zoom room.

We understand that you screen might turn off the video if you are in your online textbook. However, if your teachers call upon you and you do not answer right away, you will be removed for the day and marked absent.

Just a pop up walk in the park for kindergarten!

We can't mask how excited we are to be back in school! We need your help to stay in school!

Gentle reminder:

At all times you are on campus, you must wear a mask. This means, when exiting car to assist the littliest ones out of their booster seats, you must be wearing a face covering as you are within close proximity of other students walking up the line. When picking up at dismissal, you may not enter campus without a face covering.

If for some reason you have forgotten, we understand. Please come directly to the office for a disposable one. We truly appreciate your cooperation with this directive.
