Dear Parents and Community leaders,
You are cordially invited to attend and participate in our planning for next school year 2020-2021 Campus Needs Assessment (CNA) & Campus Improvement Plan (CIP) review on the areas of Demographics, Student Achievement, Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and Parent and Family Involvement.
Parents and community members, per Federal and State law, it is required that parents participate in our Campus Needs Assessments (CNA) and Campus Improvement Plan (CIP) in order for our schools and district to receive the additional funding for your child's education. We appreciate you and your valued input and time.

SAMSA Free Virtual STEM Academy for 11-15 year old
Greetings,
St. Philip's College is hosting its annual STEM academy virtually for summer 2020. Our Director, Dr. Jo Dee Duncan-Mosier has added ALEKS, a teacher facilitated math program through our partners at McGraw Hill. SAMSA offers eight courses over the three weeks with exciting virtual field trips!

What To Expect Next School Year
At SST Spring, our target is that all students receive a dynamic and unparalleled education that guarantees choices and opportunities today and in the future. Our vision remains true, no matter where students are learning, how teachers are teaching, or what circumstances we face.
We believe a rigorous and enriching educational experience is critical for success in life. While we cannot stand shoulder to shoulder, we will stand by each other.
Following the current TEA guidelines; At this moment, it is uncertain whether we will be learning on-site or continue through our virtual learning program, but please rest assured that we have a rich and fundamental educational plan in place for any of the final decisions. When updates from TEA or our District are received we will let you know.
Lunch Balance
Dear SST Parents,
We are near the end and as unfortunate as it was, we must close out all accounts. We have an outstanding amount of lunch balances due. We understand that many of us are facing extreme hardships due to the current circumstances. If you are having trouble paying in full, you are all eligible for a payment plan. Payments can be made via parent square or school cafe. Who has a remaining balance due has received a separate email. All full payments are due June 30th, 2020. Virtual Graduation& Award Ceremonies
We will be hosting Virtual Graduation& Award Ceremonies.
Times for the Ceremonies:
Certificates for graduating class will be printed and available for parent pick up at school:
- Wednesday, May 20th: PreKA and KA 9a-11am
- Thursday, May 21st: PreKB and KC 11am-1pm
- 9-9:30am PreKA
- 9:30-10am PreKB
- 10-10:30am Kinder A
- 10:30-11am Kinder C
May 29th, Friday: Virtual Award Ceremony
- 5th Grade Graduation
- 1st-6th Award Ceremony

Free Meal Distribution
Free Meal Distribution is Extended until End of June
Drive-through food distribution is Extended until End of June. Food will be provided one meal per student/child under the age of 18. Student/child does not have to attend SST schools in order to receive a meal. Drive-through food will consist of breakfast and lunch meals. The child must be in the vehicle to receive meals.

Distribution Dates:
Mondays & Thursdays of each week beginning April 6, 2020 through June 29th, 2020
Distribution Times:
11am - 1pm
Process:
Food will be provided to vehicles in the pick-up areas. On Mondays, each child will receive 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches. On Thursdays, each child will receive 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches.
Monday students will receive lunch for Monday, breakfast & lunch for Tuesday, breakfast & lunch for Wednesday, and breakfast for Thursday.
Thursday students will receive lunch for Thursday, breakfast & lunch for Friday, and breakfast for Monday.
