This is the best book of all time in my opinion. Jude written by Kate Morgenroth keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Jude is sixteen years old when his father is murdered in front of his eyes, enough said. The struggles he has to go through push him to the limit, while he tries to find out why his father was killed and who set him up. Its as if Morgenroth herself lived this gripping story. Without a doubt this one will be my favorite book for a long time.
Quote 1
"Hope can break a man."
Quote 2
“Jude listened to his mother’s speech. She hadn’t said thank you, and she hadn’t said that she was proud of him, but she said how important he was to her-more important than even her job. That would have been enough to make him happy- if he had believed her.”
Quote 3
“Something was different, but he didn’t know what. He figured it out while lying awake one night, long after the noise of the prison had quieted to a murmur. Jude realized that it wasn’t fear that had broken him. He had learned to live with that long ago.
