Welcome back from spring break!
Princeton Review Digital SAT
The SAT is going digital! We highly encourage current sophomores and juniors to register for this informational session on the digital SAT hosted by the Princeton Review. This virtual session will take place on April 12th at 6:30pm.
SENIOR WEEK!
Senior week is April 24-28!
Seniors will have a senior picnic, senior class meeting, dress up days, and end the week with prom.

May Testing Calendar
The EFHS testing calendar for the month of May is now available on the EFHS website. This calendar shows testing dates for AP tests, EOC tests, and finals.

Hope Walks Here - Out of Darkness Campus Walk
The Out of the Darkness Campus Walks are the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's (AFSP) signature student fundraising series, designed to engage youth and young adults in the fight to prevent suicide, a leading cause of death.
Walk for Recovery
Join Shatterproof, Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council, Forsyth County Community Connection, Full Circle, Realty 4 Rehab, No Longer Bound and The Connection in a "Walk for Recovery" at the City Center in Cumming, GA. No family is immune from addiction. Walk together for recovery.
Resources, guest speakers and musical guest! Tea Cup memorial service to honor those who lost their life battling addiction.
FCS Launch Program - Register by April 28, 2023
The Launch Work Ready Program is for graduating high school seniors. This training program is specifically designed for students who are interested in beginning a career and pursuing advanced training while working.

Camp Magik
April 14 – 16, 2023 White, Georgia
Camp MAGIK, a healing camp for bereaved children and adolescents, is announcing its spring 2023 session. Our spring session will be held at The Cherokee Retreat Center in White, Georgia, just east of Cartersville in Bartow County. Applications need to be postmarked or emailed to us no later than April 5, 2023. We will provide free transportation to camp and back based on need.
Camp MAGIK is well suited to all youth ages 6 through 18 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or other close loved one, especially youth who have experienced traumatic death. Professional bereavement counselors, trained in grief and trauma, lead all counseling sessions. This is our 29th year providing this evidence-based service to the community.
There is also a retreat available for adults who want to process their own grief with other adults who are grieving – please see links below. We do encourage a family member to join their camper/s.

Our camp sessions are FREE OF CHARGE to all participating children and adolescents.
Georgia Academy Day 2023
High school students and their families are invited to Academy Day to learn more about the application and congressional nomination process for the five U.S. Service Academies — the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy.

BMore Learning Car Care Intensive - A workshop for Teens
Car Care Intensive – a workshop for teens
Teens have the ability and freedom to drive their car, but do they know how to take care of it and what to do in an emergency?
This hands-on, experiential car care workshop will teach the essentials of maintaining a car. There will be two vehicles and two instructors so that participants will have ample opportunity to practice these skills for themselves. Light snacks and water will be provided. YouScience is a helpful career aptitude and interest assessment. The assessment includes multiple brain games student complete testing student's natural aptitudes. At the conclusion of the assessment, students are matched with multiple possible best fit careers. YouScience also shows students details related to these careers including average salary, required education, projected job growth, daily tasks, and more.
In March, school counselors met with 10th grade students to assist them in completing the YouScience career assessment. We highly encourage students and parents/guardians to review student career matches.
