WASHINGTON D.C. - CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
This week I have the opportunity to advocate for Christian Education at the Capitol. I serve as the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) State Representative for Arkansas. ACSI is an international Christian Educational Accrediting Agency and serves as one of the three accrediting agencies we fall under at Shiloh.
This week each of the ACSI State Representatives will learn more about the future of Christian Education at our ACSI Divisional Council meetings. I will also have the opportunity to have one on one conversations with some of the top leaders in our nation about our specific needs in Arkansas for Christian Education.
I always love coming to the capitol and being reminded of our unique history as a nation and the rich history our nation has in Christian Education. Pray for a productive week and I will see you back around campus on Friday!

HOST moms took great care of our teachers this week with a great breakfast! I think I ate half a pan of the sausage, egg, and potato casserole!
8th Grade Tailgate!
Some of our 8th grade mom's put on an outstanding pre-game tailgate prior to the game Friday night! Such a fun time!
SENIOR LUNCHEON

Shiloh Alumni, make plans to join us for our Annual Alumni Tailgate at the Homecoming football game vs. Dardanelle on Friday, September 23rd from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm in the Champions Stadium Southwest Parking Lot!
Geometry
Mrs. Wilson's Geometry classes began with their unit on Reasoning and Logic with the game of UNO. Students wrote proofs using the cards!
Anatomy and Physiology
Mrs. Arnold's A&P class explored nervous tissues in sheep brains this week!
SHILOH CHRISTIAN COLLEGE CHEMISTRY
Dr. Gleason's College Chemistry students determined the chemical formula of a copper chloride hydrate compound. Only one beaker was broken!
Elementary Robotics
Our fifth graders had their first robotics meeting!
SHILOH CHRISTIAN CHEMISTRY
Dr. Gleason's sophomore chemistry students utilized Archimedes' principle to measure the density of various substances with only graduated cylinder casualty!
PHYSICAL SCIENCE
Mrs. Hart's Physical science students concluded their unit on motion with a STEM lab. Students designed and created a car out of a toilet paper roll, cardboard, straws and paper clips. They raced their cars down a ramp and calculated the speed to determine which group created the fastest car!

Our saints performed well this weekend and our Junior high boys took home first place!
