Reminder....Did you know ELLMS could do that?
Academic 1: Consultation
The code options for consultation provides you with a list of people that you might have connected with about a student or group of students. You can click on more than one!
Academic 2: Support
There are a lot of code options for this. You can choose more than one type of support. For example, if you started in-class and needed to move to pull-out (Tier 2), you can click on both!
There is also a code for 'Cultural Language Support'. This would be for Hul'q'umi'num language instruction for our ESD students. It can also be used for Arabic and Mandarin support with Moy and Julia.
NEW! There is a code for the PRESS
Academic 3: Assessment
This code is used when we have done data collection, file review or assessment on one of the areas of language for our students.
NEW! There are PARS/ELIS, PRESS, and 'Unable to assess due to Covid-19' code options.
Settlement Info Codes:
Settlement Info Codes should only be used if we are working with our Settlement Worker in Schools (SWIS) or CVIMS (interpretation).
Culture 2: Small group community building
An example would be the Friendship clubs that Iryna runs at Georgia and Fairview.
Culture 3: Connection with Elders/Knowledge Keepers
One of our key Instructional and ELL supports for our Indigenous students is this cultural connection.
