Early Week Updates
St. Jude Cross Country
Our St. Jude athletes competed Saturday at the Region Cross Country Championships and we are excited to announce the results:
In the Girls Elementary School division, Ally Osborne placed 2nd overall followed by Lindsay Neville’s top 5 finish. Evelyn Overton finished in the top 20 and all three received medals for their top 25 performance. Amelia Rice, Ave Lovelace, and Alexi Shramko all contributed to the team scoring, and for the second straight year, our elementary school girls finished as Region Champions and are going to the State Championships.
In the elementary school boys race, Jackson Schalk received a medal for his top 25 Region finish and qualified to run in the state meet this coming Saturday.
In the Girls' middle school division, Sydney Neville received a medal for her top 25 Region finish and qualified to run in the state meet along with Kate Lovelace, who also qualified.
Our Middle School boys finished fifth in the Region team standings and automatically qualified for state. Ryan Fillauer was our top finisher followed by Elliott McCary, Dylan Hall, Maximo Santiesteban, Charlie Hunt, and Boone Hammond.
