Bonnabel High School Expectations for the Virtual Platform
1. Students scheduled into a classroom for BHS virtual class during the school day will be required to report into the classroom.
2. Video/camera must remain on while attending class.
3. Actively participate in lessons, activities, and discussions.
4. The students need to engage in appropriate online behavior and communicate only with teachers regarding their school assignments.
5. The students must work in classes that are scheduled for the day and manage to meet all deadlines.
6. The students will be required to complete their school assignments uploaded in the Google Classroom by the deadline posted by the teacher.
7. The students will get regular feedback from their teachers to support their learning.
8. There are no extensions permitted at the end of the semester. Students must complete their work within the teachers timelines. If students do not complete their work within the teacher timelines, he/she will receive a failing grade for the course

Bear Necessities: Supports students and families in need of groceries, hygiene items, and school supplies. Please email Ms. Swanson @ Erica.swanson@jpschools.org to request support.
Virtual Classroom Issues: Invading Teacher's Google Classrooms
Students should only be present in the google meet for their Bonnabel classes that they have been invited to at the specific time they were invited.

Chromebook Expectations:
2. Chromebooks will be distributed at lunch and on Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
3. All Students (Virtual & Hybrid) should have a Chromebook by Monday, Sept. 14th.
4. All Chromebooks are tagged by JP school district and the student is responsible for taking care of the device.
Great Things are Happening at Bonnebel High School
2. Students at school are wearing their face masks following Covid safety procedures.
3. Volleyball Season begins on Thursday with a Home Game.
4. Football Season begins in October
5. All students are being temperature checked in the morning before they go to class
6. All Students will receive a digital device.

Family Resource Center for Online Learning:
This Family Resource Center for Online Learning contains helpful resources to help students and families learn online, either at school or at home. Visit the sub-pages to find useful videos, Google Classroom and Google Meet information, virtual learning tips, connectivity workarounds, policies, and etiquette. We will update this Resource Center on an ongoing basis to continue to support our families and students with online learning.
In addition to this resource center, families can contact our Student and Parent Technology Helpdesk Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at 504-365-5304 to access support with:
- Passwords
- Login issues and Google Classroom Access
- Device related issues including:
- Microphones
- Cameras
- Keyboards
- Hotspots
