COVID VACCINATIONS
COVID 19 Vaccines (Pfizer) are now authorized for any person age 16 and over. Camano Island Fire and Rescue will be holding a vaccine clinic at the Camano Center on Camano Island for people age 16 and up on Wednesday May 12th from 3:30 to 6:30. Parents may be vaccinated at the same time as their student(s).
At this point anyone over 16 and under 18 who is getting a vaccine will need a parent with them at the vaccination clinic to complete the process. The State is working on cleaning that approval process up but at this point that is all Camano Fire can do.
Please use the registration link below to set up your vaccination time/day:

ATTENDANCE
Asynchronous Attendance Attestation
Every Monday (for our AA group) and Thursday (for our BB group) students will attest to their attendance for their asynchronous days. Students can also order five day meal bags, which will be delivered to them after in-person school on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Speaking of Attendance
Whether your Spartan comes into the building or is staying remote, please call us on either their AA or BB day to let us know why they are absent. With Covid protocols, this is extremely important. Thank you!
FULL DAY HYBRID MODEL REMINDERS
This past week we started our full day hybrid model. Thank you for your patience as we all adjust to the new program.
Students in cohort A will attend school on Mondays/Tuesdays (last name A - K). Students in cohort B will attend school on Thursdays/Fridays (last name L - Z). Students remaining in the distance learning model will attend virtual google meets on Thursdays/Fridays. Those students need to stay in the google meet until the teacher closes the google meet.
Students on campus need to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. They also need to stay 6 feet apart.
For more information on our full day program, click on the link below.
LUNCH INFORMATION
Beginning April 26, all students will have access to free grab and go lunches when they attend in person (it will also include breakfast for the following day). Additionally, students will be able to pick up a 5-day meal bag when they leave school on either Tuesday or Friday. Students will be able to sign up for the 5-day meal bag when completing their attendance form each week.
Students will use hand sanitizer before and after they eat. We have hand sanitizer stations at all three eating locations. We also have microwaves for student use.
Students will use the QR code to screen in for lunch. Students will select the name of their fourth period teacher and also what seat they are sitting in. Students who don't have a cell phone can use their chrome book to complete this process.

STUDENT/FAMILY SUPPORT
Hello parents/guardians and students!
I started on Monday, April 26th, and have been sorting through electronic files to find students who may need hope in realizing that they CAN pass classes! Some have dug a hole - but it is NOT too late to get a hand out and get on firm ground!
I will be contacting some of you personally, but if you or your student want a plan developed JUST for YOU - please contact me! I am here at your disposal!

How to Access Lessons in Xello
Class of 2021:
There are 7 required lessons to complete in Xello. It is extremely important that students have current information especially in the experiences section and goals. When they ask teachers for letters of recommendation, the teachers will ask students to share their Xello profile with them, as they will be able to easily pull information from there to include in the letter.
Classes of 2022, 2023, and 2024:
Once you log into the program, scroll down to lessons, and complete the Inventory Review Lesson. This will be a huge help as the data we gather from the assessments in Xello, your saved career clusters in Xello, and saved Careers of interest will be used to assist us in developing courses for next year to better meet your needs.
