President's Message
This month is all about Love <3 If you have ever read Chapman's book, "The Five Love Languages", you might consider that we all have various ways we receive and give love.
In our chapter, we have the opportunity to share love with people we don't know and may never meet. Through our acts of service and giving we are sending out a tremendous amount of love into our community. This year alone we have loved on people without enough to eat (via the food bank and snack in the backpack), children in poverty (via toys for tots), aging senior citizens (via Cameron Hall), and teenagers in crisis (via The Joy House).
One of the reasons I love our group so much is because I am surrounded by others who speak a similar love language and together we give love.
Also, equally important is the need to received love. Let a sister call and check on you, send a card, cook a meal or give you words of affirmation. While our combined efforts are important; so is the love we give to each other.
