Beliefs and how its different
The difference from other religions is that its not centered on the relationship between humanity and GOD. Buddhist don't believe in a personal creator GOD. Siddhartha Gauttama or The Buddha found the path to enlightenment, by doing so he was led from the pain of suffering and rebirth towards the path of enlightenment and became known as the Buddha or "awaken one".

The graphical origin is North east India. And their place of worship is at home with a shrine or at the temple.
year created and holidays
The year this religion started is in 520 B.C.E. And some of the traditions are the elephant festival, festival of the tooth, and festival of the floating bowls. And some holidays are Veska [Buddha day], observation day [Uposatha], Dhama Day [asalha Puja Day].
Founding leader and sacred book
The founding father is Siddhartha Gautama or "the Buddha". Sacred text is the tripitaka.

The Symbol
It is called the Dharmachakra. The wheel (Skt. chakra; Tib. 'khor lo) is one of the most important Buddhist symbols, as it represents the teachings of the Buddha. The Buddha was the one who "turned the wheel of the dharma" and thus the wheel symbol is the Dharmachakra, or "wheel of law."

Interesting farts The Buddha was born in 520 B.C.E. And they sometimes wear orange Kāṣāyas. Witch look like dresses. the wheel means the wheel of law. In the earliest centuries of Buddhism, statues of the Buddha were not used.
