Kia ora koutou,

Well we finally got the weather right and managed to get through our athletics events yesterday. It was a great effort from the majority of our children who turned up and got stuck in. All our staff put in a real team effort to ensure the day ran smoothly. It was lovely to see parents and whanau turn up and support throughout the day. Thank you.

We've still got the high jump champs to do for the older children and some relays so we'll squeeze these in before the end of the week hopefully. Next Tuesday (after school) is the CHB Athletics event. The teachers are working hard to get our team together and will notify those children who have made the team as soon as possible.

It's a pretty busy time but these are the three things on top for now:

- MUFTI DAY tomorrow (Thursday) - please bring a grocery item for the grocery raffle.

- TEACHER ONLY DAY this Friday 18 November so there is no school.

- TWILIGHT GALA - Next Friday 25 November

Ngā mihi nui,

Paul Jamieson

Whanau & Friends will be holding a Mufti Day tomorrow. Please bring along a grocery items for our Christmas Hampers Raffle. Whanau & Friends will collect your items at the school gate on your arrival. All proceeds from this Raffle will go to 2023 School Camps.

We have plenty of polo shirts and shorts in stock along with Bucket Hats. Baseball Caps are currently sold out but more will be arriving soon and Snap-Back Hats we have only a few left. Our supply of size 4 shorts hasn't arrived yet.

The prices are $15.00 for Hats, $25.00 for Polo shirts and $20 for Shorts. Please note prices continue to increase but we are not passing these on and do not intend to.

New students to our school will be given a free bucket hat.

If you are late, you are going to an appointment, you have been to an appointment or a student is away from school.

Please sign in or out on the Vistab in the school office if you are late or are leaving school for any reason during the school day. Parents please remind your children that they need to do this as if we have an evacuation or lockdown we need to know where everyone is.

If your child is not attending school for any reason please make contact with either the school office or the classroom teacher by phone, using the Hero App or Seesaw. Relying on siblings to inform us often doesn't work.

Twilight Gala and Top Schools - Friday 25th November 2022
