We hope everyone enjoyed the (hopefully last!) taste of winter this weekend. We know we’re all looking forward to warmer weather starting next week, just in time for our PTO-sponsored Camp4Real afterschool club! For more details, please see the Camp4Real section later in this newsletter.

We are also gearing up for our Hollymead Talent Show, that will be held on March 26th at 4:00 on the black top. We are so thankful to our wonderful volunteer Talent Show coordinator Katie Arostegui for all of the work she has put into helping Hollymead’s talented students prepare for the show! Please plan on coming out to support our students on the 26th.

Finally, don’t forget that 2021-2022 yearbooks are on sale now (flyers went home in folders last week)! The last day for flyer ordering is April 1st and the last day for online ordering is April 3rd.

The PTO would like to formally invite you to the annual Talent Show, Saturday, March 26th at 4:00 - 5:30 pm.

Admission is FREE! During our Intermission you will be able to purchase Spirit Wear, snacks and water. All Benefits proveed to the PTO which will benefit our Hollymead students and staff.

Due to current safety protocols, the show will take place outdoors, on the black top behind the portable trailers. Please bring your own folding chairs and/or beach blanket to sit on. Seating is first come first serve.

We will need help to create an outdoor stage to make it festive! The PTO extends an invite to all Hollymead families, teachers and staff who may be interested in helping transform the black top into a stage. If so, please consider donating to the Decoration/Supplies/Time (SignUpGenius) List found here.

Our PTO sponsored Camp4Real After School Club will start next week! Thank you so much for signing your students up. Parents, please send in a change of dismissal the first week of After School Club.

Mr. Dubbs and Mr. Carroll cannot wait to welcome you to these fun 3 weeks. In case we have to postpone due to weather we will communicate with you via email. We are hoping for 3 weeks of great weather. In case we have to cancel a club date, we would like to make it up the same week by moving the club to a Friday or correspondingly to a Wednesday or Thursday. We will be in touch about these changes as needed.

Have you tried Torchy's Tacos in The Shops at Stonefield? Mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 30 from 10 am - 10 pm. You can eat tacos for lunch AND dinner, all while supporting the Hollymead PTO. Just show the flyer or a digital copy of the flyer at the register and 15% of your purchase will go back to Hollymead. (Online and delivery orders are excluded) Come out and support this new restaurant and your school!
