BAE Virtual Student Resource/Book Pick-up and Say “HI!”
We would love to see our BAE Virtual Classroom families and need to hand out important items like books and workbooks. On September 1, from 2:00 - 3:00, we will hold a VC Student Supply “Drive Thru” so families can say hi to teachers and can pick up these items. As you pull around the school *see car drop off video above for route* and enter the drive through, please have your child’s name and grade level written clearly on a sheet of paper that you can post in the window. This will allow us to quickly find the materials that you need. Children and families will remain in their cars to keep everyone safe.
***If you ordered a yearbook and still have not received it please let us know when you drive through and we can get that to you***
Grades K - 4 Face to Face Transition Days
For our students who will be attending school face-to-face, Sycamore has decided to implement transition days for our Kindergarten - 4th grade students to help make the transition back to school a little bit easier.
For the face-to-face students whose last names begin with A through L, their transition start date will be on Thursday, September 3rd. For the face-to-face students whose last name begin with M through Z, their transition start date will be on Friday, September 4th.
This transition day for face-to-face learning will allow our students to begin to learn the new safety protocol routines more easily as well as to ease our students back into the buildings.
More information will be coming soon regarding transition activities for our virtual classroom learners.
Preschool students will attend in full on both September 3 and 4.
Healthy Back to School Checklist for Face to Face Students
These checklists do not need to be printed or submitted to the school, but serve as a reference for parents to use each morning before their children leave the house for school.

Please make sure you have submitted the most current forms for your student. This applies to EVERY NEW STUDENT to the district and returning preschool students regardless of whether you are virtual or in person. Click HERE to access the required forms on our website. PTO meetings will always be at 9:30am and will be held on the second Thursday of October, January, and March. Our May meeting will be the first Thursday of the month. PTO meetings will be held via Zoom. We will put out the link a few days prior to the meetings.
Building a strong Blue Ash Elementary Community is a goal for the PTO. We are already working on plans for a fun (virtual) Haunted Fest month, as well as other activities throughout the year.
I, and the rest of the executive board, look forward to working with you this year as we do our best to make a positive difference for our children, the staff, and our school. Please contact me anytime with questions.
Sincerely,
